It's been a year since Juliet Monaghan disappeared from Willow Bend without a trace. Her teenage sister Charlotte is determined to rekindle the search, investigating the nearby woodland for the mysterious "fiend".

But Charlotte's obsession wreaks havoc on her psyche as reality blends with her imagination, and her friends are forced to save her from something far worse than the fiend: her own mind.
